Well, we are Helén and Morgan, your hosts, here to serve you in the best possible way. Our goal is to make you feel truly welcome and ensure your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible. We love meeting new people from different places, countries, and cultures.
We offer two types of accommodation: an older farmhouse and a brand-new apartment in our barn. You can read more about these under the “Accommodations” section.

We believe life should be a rich and rewarding experience, both for ourselves and everyone we meet. It should be generous and kind. That’s why new things are always happening here, and with your presence, we can make life better for each other.
We’ve created an inviting environment because more and more people are drawn to the countryside these days. On our farm, we prioritize sustainability, reuse materials, and power the farm with solar panels and an electric car. We believe in sustainability, rural development, and reducing the stress of modern life.
We’re eager to share all this with you because we love the beauty of nature, both in the valley and the forest.
A Little Story About Our Wedding Celebration
On August 4th, 2007, the sun finally broke through after weeks of grey skies, and on this one glorious summer day, we, Morgan and Helén, said yes to each other in the small church of Grimmared. Surrounded by 120 loved ones, we shared a magical moment filled with love that filled every corner of the room.
After the ceremony, our wedding procession wound its way down a blooming path, accompanied by the enchanting sounds of a violin that created a fairytale-like atmosphere. At a beautiful lookout point, a welcome drink awaited us – toasts, laughter, and warm hugs echoed in the air, setting the perfect tone for the day.
The garden dinner turned into a heartfelt and spontaneous celebration, where everyone felt at home amidst mismatched furniture, linens, and rustic charm. Instead of traditional gifts, we received a bounty of delicious baked goods, which kept the celebration alive for months after. We treated our guests to grilled venison from our own forest, sharing a meal that was as personal as it was delicious.
As the evening approached, the party moved into the barn, where the festivities continued long into the night with music, dancing, and togetherness. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and memories – a day we will treasure forever.
